In April, Steve and I celebrated our 27th anniversary down in Branson.  This just happened to be the weekend of the big flood so it "dampened" our plans just a little bit.  For instance, we did not get to go on the dinner boat cruise because the water was dangerously high.  We did get to see a show, the singing group "SIX".  They are six brothers (out of 10) and sang acapella.  It was very enjoyable!

This is Steve and me at the top of the stairs by the big mirror.  Cool picture.  Then of course on Sunday morning we got to go to church at Nixa.  Steve gave two sermons and Charlie Payne led the adult class.  Yes, it was still raining on Sunday too.

For lunch we were invited over to the Farthings for delicious lunch by the fabulous cook, Nadine.  Course, we also had an impromtu jewelry party with our dessert.

Earrings inspired by Lynn Sparks and Betsey Johnson.  They are pink pearl and enamaled flowers.  Isn't she the prettiest girl?  With Karen for her mom, she can't help but inherit the good genes.

Last week we got to meet up with the Norris clan and Alta Shearer since they were in town to see Adam do his dissertation for his doctorate degree.

Last, but not least, yesterday we ate out with Ed and Cindy, Bill and Barbara and our final four boys.  What did Barbara & the boys go crazy for?  Cotton Candy!!
